Data Engineer – Aerospace field

At Bertrandt, a leading organization in aerospace and automotive innovation, we are searching for an Aerospace Engineer to be part of one of our projects  within a client in Aerospace field in Getafe (Madrid).

You will be part of a project related to data management in Aerospace field, being responsible for aircraft data generation and verification. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in compiling and managing a comprehensive aircraft database, gathering and integrating data from multiple sources, including maintenance records, material specifications, and and automating tools to optimize data workflows.

Main responsibilities:

1. Data Compilation and Management: Collect and compile essential aircraft data from various sources, ensuring the information aligns with the client’s operational needs and technical requirements.
2. Database Generation: Develop and maintain a detailed, accurate, and structured database, applicable to the client’s aircraft and adaptable to updates in maintenance, material, and configuration information.
3. Data Verification: Conduct thorough verification processes on the compiled data, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of the database by using specialized tools.
4. Automating data processing tools to improve efficiency. 

 Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (other backgrounds with experience in data management will also be considered).
2. At least 2 years of professional experience.
3. Previous experience in Aerospace field working with data will be highly valued.
4. Previous experience working with Excel / VBA, Python, and/or SQL.
5. We are searching for a proactive team player, with attention to detail.
