Product Development Engineer Junior

As a Product Development Engineer at DHV Technology, you will have the opportunity to be part of our dynamic R&D team. You will play a crucial role in the research and development of future products, supporting the evolution of our power subsystems for satellite applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects in the aerospace sector and contribute to the technological advancements of DHV Technology.

Responsabilities

1. Exploration and evaluation of emerging technologies for potential integration into future products.
2. Development of prototypes and experimental validation of new designs.
3. Generation of design documentation, test procedures, and manufacturing instructions.
4. Structural analysis and performance evaluation of new concepts.
5. Interpretation of results and proposal of optimization strategies.
6. Selection and characterization of materials for advanced applications.
7. Interaction with suppliers and technology partners for component sourcing.
8. Preparation of technical reports and documentation for R&D projects.
9. Participation in qualification tests and experimental campaigns.

 

Education and Requirements

1. Degree in physics, aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or similar.
2. Written and spoken fluency in English.
3. Experience with 3D design software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
4. Desirable: Master’s Degree in Space Systems or related fields.

 Technical Competencies

1. Experience in structural analysis (FEMAP software or similar).
2. Knowledge of metallic and composite materials.
3. Experience in the space sector.
4. Familiarization with ECSS standards and methodologies.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support product innovation.
